Social organizations can be defined as Greek Life and Social Groups on campus. Understanding the impact that social organizations have on academic motivation can help guide students and faculty to better create and environment that encourages academic success. The research we are conducting is similar to Manyu Li, Irene Hanson Frieze, Timothy J. Nokes-Malach, Jeewon Cheong\u2019s research on \u201cMediating processes between social relations and academic motivation\u201d. This research study focuses on the impact of friends and attachment to their university to academic motivation.
