A laser housing is used to provide precise mechanical control of the wavelength. Typically, these housings are either commercially purchased or milled from metal.\u00a0We\u00a0also\u00a0designed\u00a0a\u00a03D\u00a0printed\u00a0housing\u00a0for a laser tunable at 1015 nm whose\u00a0performance\u00a0was\u00a0tested using atomic spectroscopy and found to be comparable to the metal housing while being a fraction of the cost.
